April 20, 2004House in MeguroLocated in a quiet Japanese neighborhood near Meguro station, lies a new house which holds the unique distinction of...totally blowing us away! It's not too often that we come across a house in this city which so seamlessly unites functionality, practicality, and tasteful modern beauty into one nice package, so we thought we should definitely tell you about this great place... The ground floor is made up of three bedrooms which are very tastefully done in white, with wooden accents found throughout. Although the house has its share of neighboring walls and residences, we found the skillful and strategic placing of long horizontal windows near the ceiling very effective in making the bedrooms attractive and bright. The great sense and design of the bedrooms did not however, prepare us for what lay above... As we walked up the stairs and into the living room, our breath was, for a moment, literally taken away: the exceptionally well-designed blend of glass, high ceilings, and beautiful wooden floors makes it a truly magical place to be. Large sliding doors allow the kitchen to be completely integrated into the larger living/dining room area. The rooftop and basement study are also supurbly well-designed and effortlessly fit into the overall theme of the house.
If you would like to make life in this dreamhouse a reality (and yourself an object of our envy), please contact us right away! Floorspace is 240 square meters. Asking price is JPY 1.1 million a month. Theodore Knipfing For more Quality Arkios Properties Click Here Posted by theodore at April 20, 2004 05:50 PM
